Have more than 4 guests? Ask about the group discount. All animals have off days just like people and are subject to substitution; some have interaction restrictions for their own welfare.

The questions we are asked most.
How long do the encounters last?
Between 1 and 2 hours depending on your package. Silver and Gold run about 60 minutes, Diamond around 90 minutes, and Platinum a full 2 hours.
How much time do we get with each animal?
Around 20 minutes with the main animals — capybaras, alpacas, Patagonian cavies, African porcupines and wallabies. Smaller critters like bunnies, reptiles and skunks spend about 5 to 10 minutes with you each.
How many people can we bring?
Encounter packages are designed for groups of up to 10 people, which suits families, friends and small parties. The more people you bring, the better the per-person rate — ask about the group discount for more than 4 guests.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes. Participants must be at least 5 years old, for the safety and comfort of both guests and animals.
Where exactly are you?
We are on our own property in Pipe Creek, Texas, in the Hill Country — roughly 35 to 45 minutes from the north-west side of San Antonio. Encounters are by reservation only and the exact address is supplied when you book.
Do you offer a season pass?
Not a season pass, but we do have a Loyalty Card. Meet the alpacas, African porcupines, wallabies and Patagonian cavies and get a FREE capybara add-on at your next visit. Each guest needs their own punch card.
