About us
Two SeaWorld trainers, and about thirty animals.
Happy Tails Entertainment is a fully licensed and insured wildlife education organization based in Pipe Creek, Texas. We have been working with animals our whole lives, and running this since 2008.
Anita Lenihan
Moorpark, 1986.
Anita graduated from Moorpark College in 1986 from the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program, working with gray foxes, ring-tailed lemurs, snakes, rats, big cats and several different species of birds and hoofstock.
She went on to develop extensive skill with sea lions, walruses and otters, and was a major contributor to the success of every sea lion show at the SLWO stadium. She then supervised the training team that put in the VIVA show at the White Whale and Dolphin stadium.
Between them, Anita and Mark have 25 years of field experience and have worked with everything from rats to beluga whales.
Mark Lenihan
Lancaster, then San Diego.
Mark grew up in Lancaster, California. After high school and some years of college he started as an apprentice animal trainer at SeaWorld San Diego. He met Anita in 1986, transferred with her to SeaWorld San Antonio, and they married in 1989.
Where we are now
After sixteen years on the road.
The business grew the way a business should — school assemblies, libraries, birthday parties, corporate events, all of it with the animals in the van. We are proud of that, and we are changing it.

We brought the animals to you, anywhere in and around San Antonio, for sixteen years.

The best of what we do happens here, on our own property, for small groups who want real time with the animals.

School, corporate, church and festival programmes continue, on a shorter travel radius.
